Michael Reid Sydney presents Christian Thompson’s latest collection of artworks, Being Human Human Being. The body of work culminates in performative photography and a new video work and Toby Meagher, Gallery Director, provides us with an insight . 4A Centre of Contemporary Asian Art opens for the first time this year with a solo exhibition by Australian Filipino artist Marikit Santiago, For us sinners and we find out more. West End’s Broadway musical sensation, The Phantom of the Opera opens in grand-scale for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour and we hear from with Assistant Director Shaun Rennie and cast member Martin Crewes. The Powerhouse Museum launches 100 Climate Conversations, 100 conversations with 100 of the nation’s leading climate innovators delivered over 100 weeks. The program will connect audiences with the innovation and action that is being taken in Australia to address the climate crisis. Catherine Polcz is the curator of the project and she joins us to tell us more.
