The Addi Road Writers Festival is an independent one-day cultural happening held on the grounds of the Addi Road Centre in Marrickville, on Saturday, 20th May. This year’s theme is Inner Worlds, and we explore the curatorial direction by the Co-Artistic Directors, Mark Mordue and Sheila Ngoc Pham, who also preview the program. The international art fair for independent artists, The Other Art Fair presents its upcoming Sydney edition with 130 artists, art experiences and a few surprises., we hear from Luke Potkin, Fair Director. The one-day car boot sale features over 140 artists selling their works direct to the public in a dynamic, market-style setting. Three artists, Hugh Black, Sean Crowley and Anna Mould are collaboratively presenting a stall, and they talk us through what they are planning. The Pyrmont Art Prize celebrates its 11th anniversary at the Pyrmont Festival, which happens at Pirrama Park over the weekend.
